Skatt-Daddy

Steve is originally from New York where he began playing bass and formed his Rock and Blues roots. He has over 200 hours of studio time and has played bass on many albums with other bands. Steve was a founding member of the metal band, The Rods, and has toured with Dio, Judas Priest, Badfinger, Joe Perry and many more. Steve’s blues background and professional experience has enhanced his ability to play hard driving bass, which in part, is the foundation of Skatt-Daddy.

After relocating back to Frederick from California where he recorded several songs, Steve went to Memphis where his guitar playing achieved semi-finalist in the International Blues Festival and Best Band and Best Guitar Player from the Frederick Blues Society. He also was the regional winner of Guitar Center's King of the Blues, an east coast competition. Adding Steve to Skatt-Daddy makes this band one of the areas best bands.

Hank is the newest member of Skatt-Daddy and has been playing drums for as long as he can remember.  He has been fortunate to have performed and recorded with a variety of local and national acts.  When he is not playing drums with Skatt-Daddy, He plays in the Delmarva area with country artist Mike Kuster and surf stalwarts, Killers from Space featuring members of the Fredericks, Atomic Mosquitos.  He loves rocking out with Skatt-Daddy,  Rock on!!!!

 Although fairly new to Skatt-Daddy, Richard is a life-long guitar enthusiast. He has been a longtime supporter of local music and has been playing and singing for years. His guitar rhythms and vocals complete the band, adding excellence to each performance. Richard is an accomplished singer and his vocals are considered one of the best and is looking forward to sharing his love for music through Skatt-Daddy.

 Skatt-Daddy is an upbeat and danceable combo.. Skatt-Daddy is known for getting the audience up and dancing on its feet at its shows. With selections by such artists as Eric Clapton,  B.B. King, The Wallflowers, Jimmy Eats World, Allman Bros., Tom Petty, Foo Fighters SRV, CCR and many others, Skatt-Daddy will have you rockin'.  In existence since 2018. Skatt-Daddy is a 4-piece band featuring some of Frederick’s most seasoned musicians. Each member of The Band is well known on the music performance circuit. Skatt-Daddy’s sound is upbeat and fresh.
